After connecting about 2,500 public high schools to the Internet, GILAS needs to reach out to  the remaining unconnected schools in more remote towns and villages where there may be no access to broadband via landline or wireless connections. We have therefore decided to offer the option of using satellite-based Internet to these schools. It will entail an additional cost of about $ 1,000 per school.

In addition, one of our partner companies ended its flagship education program which allowed projects like GILAS to avail of software licenses at very deep discounts.

• Regular Internet Package
  Php 100,000 or $ 2,300 to provide server, printer, network peripherals, teacher training, tech support and monitoring for schools with computer labs

  Php 150,000 or $ 3,400 to provide server, printer, network peripherals, satellite equipment, teacher training, tech support and monitoring for schools with computer labs
  
  
• Full Lab Package with regular connection
  Php 440,000 or $ 9,800 to provide 10 computer units plus Regular Internet Package
  
  
• Full Lab Package with satellite connection
  Php 490,000 or $ 10,900 to provide 10 computer units plus
  Satellite Internet Package
